So, we were happy to get some time on Catrike's forth coming electric assist option. Catrike partnered with Bosch for an electric mid drive motor to satisfy the public's thirst for more POWER! The Bosh was bolted to the boom of the tried-and-true trike champ, 5.5.9 or "559". The demo trike lept forward as if it was a caged tiger let loose into the asphalt jungle of the Nashville fairgrounds. Catrike tentatively plans on releasing electrified versions of their trikes some time in 2nd quarter of 2020. No news available on retrofit of Bosch systems.
